Analysis: The Brutal Short Film That Consumed my Life

After 3 months of painful pre, production and post, Analysis is final done. With patience and a caffeine IV I rendered and spent an unhealthy amount of time sitting in the lab, talking to the computer. I am on a 38 hour stretch of no sleep and Im not even sure if this is a good film anymore but hey!
This was the most difficult, uncomfortable, insane shoot I have EVER DONE.
I was blessed to have such talent float my way.
James Mckernan was phenomenal, He was so patient with me and helped me with so much, creatively.
Michael Cera wrote the score for the film and it fits perfectly. Really pulls the whole film together.
I couldn't ask for anything more out of this. I appreciate all the help! hope you guys suffer watching it as much as I was making it!

A good old George Kuchar

Got to Love Kuchar ! This short is absolutely spectacular. The sound design and POV's perfectly play together in this sexually frustrated master piece of a short film. If you haven't seen much of Kuchar he is incredibly prolific. He directed over 200 films in his lifetime. You cant help but love his work because its so honest and unreserved. Kuchar started out drawing weather maps for the news channels. During this job him and his twin brother Mike Kuchar showed there 8mm films. He taught at the San Fransico Art Institute from '71 to his death in September 2011. If you love Avant-guard films you have to watch some Kuchar. His style and honesty is truly unique.

Lolita catches up with the rest of the world and makes a blog...

I've been chronically avoiding becoming a product of my generation and partaking in online social media, but my efforts have failed due to my increasing need for cyber attention. Im an aspiring Screen play writer/ editor /musician living in Santa Fe Austin or LA (depending on my mood). Im a Music snob among other kinds of snobbing. I cant spell, I like metaphysics, and sometimes I say funny things!

This is starting to sound like a personal add...

Anyway! I'll be posting new work/ works in progress and thing that are totally unrelated to anything.
